Providers join GMA’s Glenwood Springs office, bolstering the Roaring Fork Valley’s largest independent practice
Glenwood Medical Associates is pleased to announce the addition of two family medicine physicians, Dr. Coya Lindberg and Dr. Paul Swenson.
Coya Lindberg, MD is board certified with the American Board of Family Physicians. Her professional passion is aiding others in optimizing their health and happiness. “I am here to support your well-being and assist you so you can thrive,” said Dr. Lindberg, who is straight-forward, warm and attentive. “As a family doctor, I can meet you wherever you are on your journey. I have rigorous medical training, a passion for knowledge and caring for others.” Dr. Lindberg appreciates patients sharing their concerns and experiences so collaboratively “we can uncover the best way to address your medical needs.”
Paul Swenson, MD learned firsthand the value in having a compassionate, grounded and dedicated physician working together with the patient when his mother had breast cancer. That personal experience guides his work today. He likewise draws on his background as a teacher to help patients see the big picture of why something is happening, how treatment may work. “I love getting to know each patient and what is important to you,” he remarks. “This informs decisions we’ll make together to diagnose, treat and prevent issues. Similarly, I try to help patients understand their options and why certain options may be better in a particular situation.” Dr. Swenson serves English- and Spanish-speaking patients.
Both providers are currently accepting new patients.
