Paul Swenson, MD

Dr. Paul Swenson takes pride in helping patients understand why something is happening as well as how treatments may work. That’s his teacher background in practice so patients can see the big picture— your life now and the life you want well into the future. “I love getting to know each patient and what is important to you,” he remarks. “This informs decisions we’ll make together to diagnose, treat and prevent issues. Similarly, I try to help patients understand their options and why certain options may be better in a particular situation.” Dr. Swenson learned firsthand the value in having a compassionate, grounded and dedicated physician working together with the patient when his mother had breast cancer. That personal experience guides his work today.
